Becky Bearse, Principal & Founder

Diverse talent guru. Human capital innovator. Solution artist. 

With roots in education and the arts, Becky has dedicated her career to transforming the world in which she lives and works. Becky founded DTS© with this intent in mind. Becky is known for her solution-oriented approach, which has been shaped by over 20 years of cross-industry experience across the private and public sectors.  Becky is a subject matter expert and contributing writer for The Huffington Post. Becky's special expertise in the talent lifecycle as it pertains to underrepresented minority talent has earned her recognition across the U.S. With a broad background in Diversity, Inclusion and Human Resources, Rebecca has a special knack for working across silos to connect the dots in the development of scalable, culture-specific strategies.

Her diverse professional experience includes consulting and practitioner roles at LinkedIn, Genentech, Hewlett-Packard, the Capital Group Companies, InclusionINC™ and Jennifer Brown Consulting.  This breadth of experience is complemented by her work in the non-profit and public education sectors with organizations such as Inner-City Arts and the San Francisco, Boston, Marblehead and Danvers Public Schools.

Rebecca's passion for the field translates into her work as a speaker and panelist in the Diversity and Inclusion community on topics ranging from metrics to diversity recruiting best practices. She is honored to have presented and co-presented at such forums as the St. Thomas Multicultural Forum for Diversity, the California Diversity Council, the Carlson School of Management and the Latino Leadership Initiative. Rebecca also gives back to the next generation of talent by mentoring, coaching and educating others about the field. 

Rebecca has lived and worked across the United States and London, and currently resides in San Francisco. Rebecca is also a practicing choreographer, where she draws inspiration from her work in diversity and inclusion to fuse together multiple dance mediums in pieces she showcases under her company name, beBE dance

Rebecca holds her BA, Cum Laude, from Bryn Mawr College, her M. Ed from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and her MA from the Carlson School of Management.
